It is our honour to be in the free army, to defend our nation and our honour. Homs is our mother, more dear to us than our own mothers.
God willing victory is soon. We will free Homs and all the families will return.
All the young men of Syria can see, we are the grandsons of Khaled Ibn Waleed. Look, we wrote it here. We are the grandsons of Khaled, this is an honour for us. We are from the lineage of our prophet Mohamed and grandsons of Khaled.

Doubts cast on video of Syrian ‘buried alive’ #Syria
Syrian forces allegedly bury alive a civilian from Al Qusair, Homs in the graphic video above. Storyful has spent several hours assessing the available evidence surrounding this footage. We are particularly grateful for the advice of highly-experienced observers of video from Syria. We cannot definitively say this video is a fake but do believe there are serious grounds for doubt about its authenticity. Read rest of post here
(The post raises some good points, but is not the devastating debunking I expected - I thought the audio analysis unconvincing in particular. Interestingly there is another take on this video - this time the Syrian regime claiming it is the FSA - Syrian Freedom)

Cell phone videos show horrors inside #Syria

We’re experiencing one of those times in history when an aging dictatorship hangs on to power by using military force against its own people. For nearly a year we’ve been following the freedom movement in Syria. It appears the dictator Bashir al-Assad is rushing to crush the rebellion before the world can do much about it.
The city of Homs - remember the name - is a little bigger than Philadelphia and it’s been under artillery fire for two weeks. Rebels claim 100 civilians were killed Tuesday alone. The citizens there have been filming the siege on cell phones. The video above shows the sights and sounds of what it’s like to be a citizen of Homs today.
The man shooting the video was saying: “We are being slaughtered. Where are you, all Arabs?”
21 countries of the Arab League have suspended Syria’s membership. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be in Tunisia on Friday to meet with representatives of 70 countries to talk about what might be done to stop the killing.
WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC: Syrian boy with his jaw blown off
Few videos could highlight the tenuous situation in Syria as one published Sunday afternoon showing a boy with his jaw completely blown off.
The video also contains other children with their limbs removed during Syrian President Bashar Assad’s violent crackdown on dissent.
The condition of the boy is unclear at the time of this post.
